Sheep And Wolves Among People

By July 25, 2011August 8th, 2011No Comments

The topic for this article was inspired by the educational program recently screened at local television. It compared people to sheep by observing the behavior of both in exactly the same situations. Needless to say, the two species exhibited nearly identical responses to the challenges thrown upon them. However, this shouldn’t come as a surprise if you already know that various things follow similar patterns in life. Instead, it got me wondering who are the wolves in the human hierarchy. The answer is other human. Read further to know how to be in a wolf pack and not a sheep flock.

People are animals

If you still in doubt whether people can be compared to animals than let me tell you one thing. People are actually animals. Want proof? You can eat every type of fresh meant or vegetables uncooked and be safe given the fact it is free of parasites. So, why would our behavioral habits be different from those of animals if our diets aren’t?

The sheep

Let me remind you of a few habits the sheep possess. It likes to be in a group, follows the herd wherever it heads to and can easily be influenced by the authority. You can find people like that very easily.

The wolf

The wolf, on the other hand, is a lonely animal. It spends most of its time alone and joins the pack only for hunting. It also has a mind of its own, questions strategies and takes care when making decisions. Wolves don’t hang out with sheep unless they have an agenda against them. They simply get bored around them.

You are an average of five people you spend the most of your time with.

You might have heard the quote above. What it means is that you need to find the wolf packs in order to surround yourself with like-minded people who love to hunt, in other words, in order be successful. These are the groups of people that make things happen in life. Just like in nature, only instead of hunting they get together to discuss ideas and make business plans.

Where to meet wolves?

This is a tricky part. The best option is to be introduced by your friend, who is a wolf, to another wolf, because wolves are careful when it comes to choosing with whom they are going to socialize with.

Another option is to visit gatherings which attract wolves. This could be a convention of young entrepreneurs or an affiliate summit or a business training camp. People in venues such as these are more willing going on a contact with you as they already know you are the one of the pack.

Then there is always a first class on a plane which I encourage you to fly every time you’ve got a chance to do so. It is amazing whom you can meet while flying first class as this is where the people who don’t want to associate with average persons travel.

Make a commitment to meet wolves in every place you go. They are the ones who heml you to make your dreams the reality.
